What will happen on Friday, 11.10.2024?

On October 11th we’ll have a civil marriage ceremony and after that, a symbolic lunch to toast this love adventure in our lives and say thank you to our lovely guests. Below you can find a detailed program of how we imagine that Friday to look like.

The plan is as follows:

  • 10.45 at Chateaux Malou - we kindly ask our guests to come 15 minutes before the ceremony begins. We will have enough time for greeting people and start the happy moments in the company of a photographer, brief the translator, and, if possible, prepare live-streaming or video recording for those who
    could not join us during this special time.

  • 11.00 marriage ceremony will start

  • 11.15/25 ceremony finish

  • 11.25 - 35/40 photoshoot with family and friends 

  • 11.40 - 12.15 personal photoshoot for Wera and Denis and eventually also with Jess 

    At this time all people can move to the restaurant or have a nice walk around 
    (it’s a 20-minute pleasant walk from the Chateau to the Restaurant or
    5 minutes by car/bike!)

  • 12.15 - 12.30 Wera & Denis finish photos and go to the Italian restaurant

  • 12.30 - 15.00 a little celebration!
    Let’s toast, and have lunch with dessert, coffee, and digestive.

  • Then REST.

    In the restaurant, we plan to display a wedding diary, where we kindly ask you to sign and write a few words, so we can later cherish your memories of this time together even more.

Useful Information

Here you can find some useful information:

Chateau Malou: Allée Pierre Levie 2, 1200 Sint-Lambrechts-Woluwe, Belgium parking address (parking is around 100m from the Chateau - you can see it on the screenshot below, marked with the white letter “P”).

We ask our guests to attend the venue 15 minutes before the ceremony. Throwing rice is unfortunately forbidden — simple bravo or some coins are a good substitution.

Afterward, we invite you for a short photo shoot close to Chateau and a toast and a festive lunch (from 12.30 until 15) at Ristorante Regina: Chau. de Roodebeek 205, 1200 Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, Belgium.

About the gifts

What will happen on Saturday, 12.10?

On Saturday late morning, well-rested and fresh, we plan a little city tour and walk in the Brussels center, around Grand Place. Let’s have some waffles, chocolate, and Belgian fries with a nice, cold beer.

Join us! We’ll be starting our calm walk around 11.

Stay tuned for 2025!
The symbolic wedding — Celebration of Happiness — will be held on one of the days between the 27th and the 29th of June 2025, in the magical surroundings of Lago di Como, Italy. Details to follow in Winter 2024.
